Product Introduction：
This kit is designed for the rapid extraction of total RNA from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue samples. The unique lysis buffer/Proteinase K rapidly lyses cells and releases RNA. The lysate is then passed through a genomic DNA removal column, where genomic DNA is efficiently removed while RNA flows through. After adjusting binding conditions with ethanol, RNA selectively binds to the silica membrane in the spin column under high chaotropic salt conditions. Following a series of rapid wash–centrifuge steps, cellular metabolites, proteins and other impurities are removed by protein wash buffer and wash buffer. Finally, pure RNA is eluted from the silica membrane with RNase--free H₂O. The recovered RNA can be used in downstream assays including reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR) and real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR).
